Good brand, well-built mid-price starter guitar, nicely finished, with low action, without buzzing. This guitar will inform a student what a good guitar should look and feel like, and enhance their ability to learn easily. It is also fairly lightweight, which can be good!
Recommend for a beginner, particularly if finger picking or classical style is desired, or for a more experienced player on a budget, because the low action and the medium/light strings are easy on the fingers, and the low action and responsive strings enable you to play faster and more adroitly.
I got a Stag for sentimental reasons, because I had one when younger, but just never played this one after I got it.
I wish I had been given a guitar like this with such responsive strings, low action and resonance when I started at age 18! If you are starting out or want a banger to take to campfire parties, you can hardly go wrong here.
New in box. Only played for about an hour to set up and test. Years of good fun music here!
Price is fairly firm. Give me a holler and we'll see.
